This is one of my favorite seasons for romantic and fun dates, so I couldn’t help sharing a second installment of Summer date ideas! When the days are filled with extended sun filled hours, fireflies are dancing on the horizon and you crave ice cream more often than usual- take advantage and enjoy!

Here are five of my favorite outdoor activities that are sure to be full of laughs, great conversation and maybe even some carefree joy!

Get ice cream: Who doesn’t love ice cream? We love mint chip and cookie dough. If you want something a bit more refreshing, try snow cones. Still delicious and easy to enjoy while walking around window shopping or along the beach.

Go hiking: Pack your camera and a blanket, then set off on a scenic hike. Adventure is always exciting and the breathtaking views you are bound to see will make memories you’ll treasure for years.

Set up camp: Why not take a weekend to go camping? S’mores and campfire grilled dinners are a great way to reconnect and stay unplugged for quality time. There are so many activities you can do

Hole in one: Even if you aren’t as interested in 18 holes as your beau, mini golf is always fun. Where else can you see a mini windmill, pirates and giraffes in the same place? Yes, we have been to that mini golf course and it was amazing.

Romantic Lights: This one is one of my all time favorite activities, but it is ever more romantic with AJP. Find a field past the edge of town and catch fireflies at sunset. Once the sun goes down, pull out your blanket and spend a few hours star gazing. Word of advice- do not forget your bug spray!
