After flight delays on both ends of this weekend, days full of love and celebration of new beginnings for both my clients and family, I am home and back to the routine and cadence of life. I always walk away after wedding days having shed a few tears, laughed a lot, with a full heart and aching feet. This past weekend, however, was extra special with a wedding AND bridal shower!

Not only was this my first time back in Iowa since we moved to Dallas, but my best friend was able to assist me and that made for a lot of quality time, since it had been over a year (!!!) since we’d seen each other! Also, a huge shout out and thank you to my always amazing mother in law for making the day possible at the Celebration Farm, pulling together all of the final details.

Saturday was full of so much love, joy and absolute energy. Caitlin and Brad, you are truly amazing people with hearts for loving and serving others in every interaction you have. I am so grateful and honored that you chose HHE to be part of your day! I can’t wait to see all of the lovely images that my sweet friend Emily Crall captured, along with the video from Steve at Nepo Productions. On Sunday, we also celebrated my beautiful sister in law as she prepares for her wedding this fall. We gathered with family and friends, owls and foxes, along with the most delicious mimosa bar. We laughed, teased and enjoyed quality time with some fantastic women! Then, the weekend was rounded out with family visits and the most peaceful sunset on the acreage – this is my happy place.
