Last October, just as the first cool weekend of autumn came upon us, I was honored to celebrate the love of Gillian and Izaak. With dashes of family heritage, guests from across the globe and pure romance, this wedding is sure to inspire you to focus on the good stuff.

The bride and groom, affectionately known as Gilly and Zeek to their friends and family, are two of the most serving and amazing people I have ever been blessed to meet. When I asked them, independently, to describe their fiancé in one word, the answers I got melted my heart. Soulmates and Best Friends. Now that I know them, I would have described them in the exact same words. Gilly is from Scotland and I absolutely loved the European touches they incorporated, complete with her McLeod family tartan and traditional Rolls Royce!

When it came to the reception space, we wanted a cozy party atmosphere and the Shore’s Event Center was the perfect place for it!

Everything about their day turned out exactly as we envisioned it and the guests were so welcoming. I even have a few photos on my phone taken by the most adorable four year old of “Gilly dancing with her daddy”. Really? I am so blessed. Gillian and Izaak, thank you so much for letting me into your life and I can’t wait for our next coffee date!
