It was a warm spring day and as we pulled into the small town square, the smell of homemade bakery goods met us. We were greeted by smiles of passers by and blooming Tulips in every color imaginable. We were experiencing the beauty and community of Pella for the first time.

That warm feeling and breathtaking view always comes to mind as Spring arrives in the MidWest. Though I have never been to the Netherlands, I imagine the artisan community and open arms extend themselves much like here in Iowa. So today, I am sharing with you some wedding goodness, inspired by our day trip those years ago.

Bright colors, springy and feminine frocks and Dutch Letters. You can’t go wrong, right?! Family made bakery treats, tulip centerpieces from Grandma’s garden and cheerful colors on a sunny day just spring to mind (pun intended). Everything about this makes me want to jump in the car and go celebrate with this fun couple.
