Gift Guide: for your Family

Lifestyle

Happy Friday!

I can’t believe it’s been a week already since my first post! Personally, I’ve barely made a dent in my holiday shopping. I usually don’t procrastinate, but it’s been a busy month so far! If you’re like me and aren’t done shopping yet, let me help inspire you with gifts for your family this week!

week 2

For Mom

My mom tends to put sensible (and sometimes boring) gifts on her list every year. I know that receiving something that she’ll use is important to her, but at the same time, I want her to feel spoiled! I love this beautiful cashmere scarf.   The ombre colors work with so many coat or sweater combos. And cashmere is so timeless that she’ll be able to wear it year after year.

For Dad

Much like my husband, my dad is next to impossible to shop for. He rarely adds anything to his Christmas list. My go to for him is usually a T-shirt with his favorite sports team on it, but this year I love the idea of giving him an Omaha Steaks gift pack. There are so many combos that you can choose from in all price ranges. Not only will he enjoy preparing it, it’s a gift the whole family can enjoy!

For the In-laws

Reid and I usually go in together on gifts for his parents, but I usually like to get them something on top of those gifts just from me. All of us at Harper Hadley adore these gift baskets! They’re so pretty and put together and come with so many special and unique items tucked inside! I think it’s the perfect addition to the items already on their Christmas list.

For the Kids

Weather you have younger siblings or cousins, nieces and nephews, or children yourself, kids are always so excited about the holiday season. I love the idea of bringing a small group gift for the younger kids at family gatherings. Not only will they get overly excited, but they’ll have something to entertain them. Disney movies have always been (and always will be) my absolute favorite. Most kids have every Frozen song memorized, but I love the idea of giving them older movies from the 80’s and 90’s that they may not have seen! They’ll be singing “A Whole New World” instead of “Let it Go” in a few short hours!

For Grandma and Grandpa

I feel like I always get stuck without an idea for my grandparents. It’s so hard to get them something that they would use and don’t already have. I love this family birthday wall chart. We have a huge family and the grandchildren and great grandchildren keep expanding, so this is the perfect way to keep track of everyone’s birthdays! It’s also such a fun thing for my grandparents to display to show off their family!

For the Hostess

With having such a large extended family, whoever hosts the annual holiday get together has to spend a lot of time prepping for the family invasion. I love the idea of bringing them a hostess gift to thank them. Since they enjoy hosting and entertaining, I love these monogrammed cheese slates! They’ll be able to use them year after year!

If you still need ideas for your man, don’t forget to look at this post. Have a wonderful weekend and don’t forget to share your ideas with us!

Cheers!  Lindsay
