How romantic, right? Even though it’s chilly outside, why not gather a lot of blankets, some hand warmers and hot beverages to go out and dream under the stars with your love?

Allow me to ‘geek out’ for a moment. I have been a fan of Tolkien since my mom passed down her Lord of the Rings book set in middle school. The fantasy, grace and elegant beauty of the Elf world always captivated me. So, between the beautiful winter sky and recently seeing the last installment of the Hobbit trilogy, all I want to do is gaze up at the stars and reflect on all of the wonder they hold.

Whether or not you are a fan of lotr, stargazing will forever be a romantic date idea to me. They hold such promise of the future, opportunity and the remembrance and history of the past. The majesty of the vast and breathtaking sky and the stars that fill it are just awe-inspiring!

As we start this new year, take an evening to let the world fall away; leaving only you, your love and your dreams for your future together- your life and legacy.
