This family, where to start? From day one, this was not just an event about Stephanie and Gabe, but their entire family. Just speaking right to my heart, y’all! Bonus – Stephanie’s parents have the same wedding anniversary as AJP and I! On top of all that, I am so excited that their day was featured over on Rock N Roll Bride earlier this week!
The whole weekend, from start to finish, was an absolute honor to be a part of. We started the weekend with a wonderful Italian rehearsal dinner that Adam and I were honored to attend. This family is so wonderful. There were laughs all around and you could feel how incredibly excited everyone was for this couple. They were all truly and sincerely proud of Stephanie and Gabe.
Stephanie and Gabe envisioned an intimate and crafted space that allowed them to dote on their loved ones and focus on the people in attendance. This was a very detailed day devoted to a beautiful love among family and between the couple. As Steph put it, focusing on the details allowed them to share their story and personalities in a very intentional and significant fashion. Every aspect interacted with their guests.
The family tradition and symbology infused throughout the day was so rich. Beginning with the Chuppah that they married under and Mr. Martin marrying them. To kick off the reception, both sets of parents joined in the Polish Blessing of bread, salt and wine, followed by a sweet reading of an Irish blessing by the bride’s cousin. One of my favorite things, that truly spoke to their love of the arts, was the unity paint ceremony. They now have a beautiful, abstract art piece for their home to share with generations to come.
As you look through these images, I truly hope that you feel the joy, respect, and love that was so apparent the entire weekend. Everytime we speak, even now, that same joy and affection stands out to me. Stephanie, Gabe, Wersyn family, Martin family — thank you so much for inviting my team and I into your sweet and wonderful world for just a weekend. It was truly a highlight of the year and we wish you nothing but elated happiness all of your days.
xoxo, Jenn
