As many of you know, I am a sucker for a good love story and that I wholeheartedly believe in your wedding telling that story. Every time I welcome a new, sweet HHE couple to the family, we start with questions about their unique and beautiful history together. How they met, what fires them up, their favorite things to do and some of the little details that make their relationship what it is.

When it came time to help design my sister-in-law’s wedding this coming October, there was no exception. Laura and Kyle have been together almost as long as AJP and I. I’ve had the honor of getting to watch their love blossom over the years. However, it is so fun to hear about the little things that they cherish and what means the most to them in this process.

Above all else, they want a fun and simple affair. A night of joy, bon fires and good company. A day filled with nature, love and the small things that they enjoy in everyday life. If you’ve spent even an hour with L & K, this is not at all surprising. They love the outdoors – hiking, kayaking, walking their darling pups, Cooper and Lucy. Laura’s favorite color is purple, while Kyle’s is teal. Natural, romantic and relaxed elegance are the tenants we are holding to in the design and I think their design board perfectly speaks to that. 

I could go on and on about the details we are curating for them, but that would give too much away! In the coming months, I’ll be formally introducing you to these two lovelies and glimpses into the details that tell their story. This is only the beginning of the process!
