Summerfield Romance Editorial Story

The day has finally arrived, four months later, to share this sweet and stunning story with you, lovelies! It was a true honor to work with so many fantastic artists and kind hearts on my first editorial in Texas! I cannot thank Leah and Lauren enough for having faith in me to bring their vision to life. The story of Tinsleigh and Jacob’s true, honest and timeless love was featured on Wedding Chicks this past Friday!

Inspired by the sweet romance and heirloom charms of a simpler time, this is the story of Tinsleigh and Jacob. They met in a local coffee shop and quickly got lost in conversation centered on their dream of a simple life surrounded by mementos of travels and life experiences. Their experiences in Europe’s countryside resonate deeply with them — where the food was local and homemade, wine was well aged, stories were told at every turn and there was always a sense of love and adventure in the air. In the presence of God and their families alone, they committed their lives to one another. They chose to keep it small because they wanted to start their marriage the way they intended to take on the world – leaning on each other and supported by their inner circle.

We were so honored to shoot this story at Summerfield at Tate Farms. This working ranch and wedding venue is stunning and it was so fun to be there during calving season. To see the sweet new beginnings happening amidst the story of a new chapter was so inspiring. Every detail that we incorporated into the design had a meaning and echoed artisan crafts and time-honored stories that will remain classic for years to come. From the hand-pressed and calligraphy paper goods, hand-dyed silk ribbon and runners to homemade desserts and collected heirloom décor, this shoot was largely focused on the simple things. The heart felt, honest things in life that build a beautiful legacy.

xoxo, Jenn
