After a year of Skype dates and countless emails, Caitlin and Brad’s wedding weekend was finally upon us. We met in person for only the second time and it was like we were old friends. We met at the Celebration Farm and from the moment the two of them walked in, the joy and excitement just radiated from the two of them. One of my favorite things is to see couples’ side glances and loving looks at each other that say so  much. These two were no different as we caught up and they began to take everything in.

Caitlin and Brad were married in the same church, Saint Patrick’s Catholic Church, that three previous generations of her family were wed in. Talk about a beautiful example and legacy to come alongside! Every element of this ceremony and celebration harkened a story, a piece of their relationship and element of their family history. Welcome to the Teplicky’s marriage day!!

This prayer book has been carried by every bride on Caitlin’s side of the family, as they walk toward their husband at the altar. Each woman then records her name and wedding date in the back cover. Such a sweet and wonderful family artifact and tradition!

Brad’s expression the first time he saw Caitlin is priceless. These precious moments are such treasured ones – some of my favorite images to see after the fact!

Despite warm temperatures and the threat of rain, Emily captured some absolutely stunning (as always) shots at the Celebration Farm during cocktail hour. Those signature stone arches are such a picturesque accent to an elegant and beautiful couple and bridal party. Am I right?!

The colors chosen, navy and yellow, are Caitlin’s favorite. Beyond that, the way they welcome guests into their relationship is the more important element. Brad took blue and yellow M&Ms to Caitlin on Valentines Day after her ballroom dancing competition in high school. That was also the day that Brad asked her on their first date. For that same reason, they also shared those sweet morsels with guests on their dessert table.

This was one fun, charismatic and heart warming group of friends and family from near and far, that gathered to celebrate one hot, rainy, beautiful summer weekend!

Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Teplicky! You are already taking on the world and making amazing things happen. We cannot wait to see what is in store for you in years to come!
