It’s the middle of the week and we are already 10 days into December! I can’t believe how quickly the month is going! Christmas is going to be upon us before we know it!
This is my most favorite time of the year! Even as an adult, I feel like there is magic in the air during the holiday season. One of my favorite traditions has always been digging out all the decorations that we’ve put up year after year and decking the house out with holiday cheer. Our Christmas tree is always our focal point!

Not only do I love the classic Christmas tree filled with ornaments that have seen so many Christmases, but I also adore fun modern trees! I am a huge advocate of having multiple trees in your house. Why not have one (or more) of each!
It’s no secret that everyone here at Harper Hadley loves Kate Spade. Polka dots, stripes, gold glitter, pink, and black and white? What’s not to love!? In addition to our classic tree, (Reid wasn’t a fan of having a pink Christmas tree in our living room) I decided to design a special Kate Spade inspired tree for my office. I was inspired by this wrapping paper I bought at Michaels back in November. I thought it would look perfect under a Kate Spade tree. Almost all the ornaments on the tree are either DIY or from the dollar store!
I found some great plain white ceramic ornaments at Michaels and used sharpies to decorate them with stripes and polka dots to coordinate with the wrapping paper. They were so easy and really add to the theme! Then I bought some smaller clear ornaments and filled them with gold, pink, and black glitter, tinsel, and sequins. And how can you have a Kate Spade tree without bows? I added both pink glitter bows and gold package bows as ornaments and topped the whole tree off with an extra large pink ribbon bow. It was such a fun DIY project!
I also want to share with you some of my favorite perfectly styled Christmas trees—ranging from classic to rustic to modern.
Get inspired by these and then share your tree with us!
Cheers! Lindsay
