Inspired Tuesday: Holiday Looks

Lifestyle

Who says inspiration has to be in the form of an event board? Gather inspiration from everywhere! Today, we are sharing some inspiration for your holiday wardrobe, because it’s just plain fun to glam out!

The holidays give you so many excuses for dressing up, which is one of my favorite things to do! I’ve always loved all things fashion and currently work as a buyer for a retail store, so I love following trends and putting together outfits. Today I’m sharing what I would wear to holiday events.

Holiday parties are tough to dress for, especially if you’re not quite sure what the dress code is. I love mixing dressy and casual together with a striped tee and a sequin midi skirt. Even though it’s a party, you’re going to be around your boss, so keep the outfit appropriate.

My family gets together multiple times between Christmas and New Years. The dress code is casual, but I know that everyone will be taking tons of pictures that will end up on social media, so I like to look cute. I love this reindeer sweater paired with burgundy skinny cords. This Etsy antler ring is a perfect way to finish the outfit and you can wear it year round!

I love getting dressed up for Christmas Day! I LOVE this tulle skirt and adding a plaid shirt makes the perfect pair for one of my favorite days of the year! I love adding a statement necklace these bow heels that I’m absolutely obsessed with!

I’m a firm believer that New Years Eve calls for something sparkly…but in the Midwest, the weather doesn’t always agree with wearing a sequin dress. I am in love with these sequin leggings. Pair them with a tank and a blazer and you’re ready for any New Years Eve party or dinner date you have planned! These quilted peep toe booties are right on trend and complete this sparkly but edgy look!

Want more ideas for winter weddings, engagement parties, or meeting your SO’s family? I’ve put together this Pinterest board with so much other inspiration for holiday dressing. It’s filled with more sparkle, sequins, and statement necklaces to inspire your holiday wardrobe! What is your favorite holiday trend? We’d love to know!

Cheers!

Lindsay
